About
A family fossil event at The Naze with an introduction to local geology and a guided fossil hunt on the beach.
Essex Wildlife Trust's Wilder Families Club session introduces The Naze's geology and its locally found fossils, including sharks' teeth, with advice on where to look before the group heads to the beach for a guided fossil hunt. Participants should bring a bag or bucket and wear sturdy footwear, and children must be accompanied by an adult. The session lasts 90 minutes and starts at the Naze Nature Discovery Centre.
