A five-metre illuminated sculpture of the Sun uses NASA surface imagery in The Exchange’s Banking Hall, alongside a research display on solar science and life on Earth.

Helios is a five-metre illuminated artwork by British artist Luke Jerram, made with high-resolution NASA images of the solar surface. It is suspended in The Exchange’s Banking Hall and accompanied by a soundscape. A surrounding research display connects the Sun with body clocks, solar energy, climate adaptation and space weather.
