Plant a Tree

Plant a native broadleaf sapling at Brookvale Wood in Groby and help grow the National Forest.

The National Forest Company invites visitors to plant a tree at Brookvale Wood in Groby, Leicestershire, contributing to the continuing growth of the National Forest. After checking in, attendees walk to the planting field, learn about the history and vision of the National Forest, and select and plant a sapling from a range of native broadleaf species. The session lasts about an hour, though the walk to the planting field takes around 20 minutes over uneven, potentially muddy paths. Events run on two dates, 14 November 2026 and 27 February 2027.
