About

The People's Theatre stages Michael Frayn's celebrated backstage farce Noises Off, following touring actors rehearsing a hopeless flop.

Michael Frayn's comedy follows a group of touring actors attempting to rehearse a hopeless flop called 'Nothing On', with dropped lines, missed cues, backstage romances and escalating chaos. Described as a play-within-a-play, it blends affectionate homage with sharp satire of theatrical clichés and misfiring performances. This amateur production runs nightly at 7.30pm from Tuesday 17th to Saturday 21st November 2026; running time is yet to be confirmed.
