About

Children aged 5+ learn about Amy Johnson’s solo England-to-Australia flight and build a model of the De Havilland Gipsy Moth she flew.

Four sessions are published in the Halifax Suite: 10:30–11:30, 11:45–12:45, 13:45–14:45 and 15:00–16:00. All materials are provided. A £5 workshop ticket admits one child and one supervising adult; a parent or guardian must remain throughout. Valid museum admission tickets are also required. Led by Jenny Lockyer, creative director of FLY: The Amy Johnson Festival of Inspiration.
