How To Mend Your Clothes

A free hands-on clothes-mending workshop where volunteer stitchers from Everyone Needs Pockets help you repair your own garments.

Part of the Get Frome Mending project, these relaxed sessions invite people to bring clothes needing repair and mend them with support from volunteer stitchers and menders from Everyone Needs Pockets. Help is available with buttons and fasteners, taking up hems and some fitting adjustments, mending and darning holes, and advice on repairs including zips. Sessions run upstairs at Frome Library, with dedicated small group sessions available for those wanting specific advice.
