A free hand-sewing craft workshop at Bexleyheath Central Library making eco-friendly furoshiki fabric gift wraps and textile bookmarks or decorations.
This friendly, beginner-friendly workshop teaches participants to hand-sew an eco-friendly furoshiki fabric wrap for gift-wrapping, plus a textile bookmark or tree decoration made from reused materials. No experience is needed and all equipment is provided, though attendees may bring memory fabric such as an old shirt or T-shirt, along with buttons, sequins or cotton from home. Booking is strongly advised, but walk-ins are welcome if space and materials allow.
