Sam Kelly

A solo folk show from BBC Radio 2 Folk Award-winning singer-songwriter Sam Kelly at Chorley Theatre's Studio.

Sam Kelly, a Norfolk-based musician, singer, songwriter and producer, performs an intimate solo show drawing on material from his various projects, with a sound influenced by his Irish heritage. He sings in English, Cornish and Gaelic, accompanying himself on guitar and Irish bouzouki, and intersperses the songs with self-deprecating humour and anecdotes. Known as an innovative arranger of traditional folk song, he has released four acclaimed solo records and has also performed alongside artists such as Kate Rusby and Seth Lakeman.
