CADOS Scratch Night

CADOS actors read short pieces by local writers in a scratch night of new stage writing.

An evening of short scenes and pieces by local writers, read by CADOS actors with minimal production, compiled and directed by Jack Vardy. The programme includes works that may be in progress or complete pieces, spanning comedy and drama, from a 1980s mental health care drama to pensioner influencers, an AI office comedy and a fading working men's club. The emphasis is on showcasing new writing for the stage before a supportive audience.
