Inaugural Lecture - Professor Stephanie Petty

Professor Stephanie Petty's inaugural lecture explores rethinking inclusive approaches to wellbeing through compassion and pragmatism.

Professor Stephanie Petty delivers her inaugural lecture, tracing her journey through NHS clinical practice and academia and asking what is accepted to be true about wellbeing, including questions about loneliness, ritual and sensory experience. She draws on her research, including work on compassion in higher education and the inclusive neurodiverse campuses project Project INC, to suggest ways of rethinking wellbeing and foregrounding compassion for shared experiences of identity.
