Essex Creatives Future

A free careers event for 14–18 year olds exploring creative industry careers through talks, workshops and business stalls at the Mercury Theatre.

Mercury Creatives, in partnership with Essex County Council, hosts a careers event for young people aged 14 to 18 interested in working in the creative industries. The morning features talks and workshops across the theatre and rehearsal spaces, with invited speakers and creatives from Essex and beyond sharing their career journeys, plus stalls from a range of creative businesses. The line-up of speakers will be announced soon. The event runs from 10am to 1pm in a relaxed environment, with ticket holders able to register at Box Office from 9.30am; those aged 14–16 must be accompanied by an adult.
