A Circle of Prayer – Circle Dance

A day retreat of circle dancing led by Joyce McAndrew, exploring traditional and contemporary dances with a meditative, contemplative theme.

This day retreat explores circle dance, a tradition across many cultures used to celebrate and draw communities together. Dances based on repeated patterns carry a meditative quality, ranging from gentle and reflective to energetic and lively. All dances are taught first, so all levels of experience are welcome, and the programme is punctuated with reflective readings. Lunch and refreshments are included.
