Everybody Dance Festival

A three-evening festival of dance performances by schools and community groups from across Yorkshire on the York Theatre Royal main stage.

The Everybody Dance Festival is a celebration of dance, movement and community, bringing together schools, colleges and community groups from across Yorkshire in an inclusive space for all ages and abilities. Across three evenings, young people perform on the York Theatre Royal Main Stage, with workshops, live performances and interactive events alongside opportunities to watch professional dance work. Created by York Dance Space co-directors Hannah and Drew Wintie-Hawkins, the festival engages over 1000 young people each year and champions dance in education and grassroots youth engagement.
