About

A Christmas house-and-garden trail follows festive wishes through themed rooms and illuminated gardens.

Follow a Christmas story through the house, from the post room to rooms themed around King Arthur, Clara from The Nutcracker, Amelia Earhart and Jay Gatsby, then visit the gardens’ lights and displays. Families can also follow an elf adventure with games and photo opportunities. Published daily availability is 14 November 2026–3 January 2027, 10:00–15:00. Booking is essential for house-and-garden visits for members and non-members; visitors going to the garden and estate only do not need to pre-book. The event has no separate fee, but normal property admission applies; National Trust members enter free.
