Medieval Art – Free Workshop: Being Human Festival

A free sketch-and-learn workshop at Exeter Cathedral exploring medieval art and iconography, part of the Being Human Festival.

This afternoon workshop invites participants to explore medieval art and iconography and how it conveyed ideas and beliefs. The session examines different medieval religious figures and artworks, including examples in Exeter Cathedral itself, before attendees sketch and create their own iconography in medieval style. It runs from 1pm to 3pm and forms part of the Being Human Festival, the UK's national festival of the arts and humanities.
