Repair Cafe

Local volunteers repair broken household items at St Anne's Church while visitors enjoy tea, coffee and cake, with donations going to charity.

Volunteers from Baslow, Bakewell and Eyam offer their fixing skills to repair items that might otherwise go to landfill. Visitors bring one broken item each, which is assessed on the spot, and they stay to watch the repair being done. Tea, coffee and cake are available while you wait, and donations raised go to charity. Items such as electric blankets, heaters, gas appliances and mobile phones cannot be accepted.
