Mini Museum Explorers: Why do we remember?
Price
£4
£4 per session per child (discounts with a Snob loyalty card); free for military families. Normal museum admission prices also apply.
About
This session is designed for under 5s and their carers, using play, stories, and crafts to explore the Royal Engineers and the theme of remembrance.
The session introduces children to bravery and service through simple stories and poems about soldiers. Participants learn why the poppy has become an important symbol of remembrance. Children then enjoy a creative session making their own poppies using soft materials. They conclude by creating a poppy-themed handprint craft to take home.
