Poppies and Peace Tees – Kids Craft Sessions

Family craft workshops at North Herts Museum making black poppies and peace-message T-shirts to commemorate the British West Indies Regiment.

Learning Through The Arts leads two creative family workshops commemorating the British West Indies Regiment, which served in the First World War. The first session (10.45am–12.15pm) sees participants create special black poppies as commemorative artwork, while the second (12.45pm–2.15pm) involves designing a personalised T-shirt with a message of peace. Both sessions explore themes of remembrance, peace and community, with all materials provided.
