Nature and Tech Networking
About
A structured networking session at the RAU featuring a visit to the historic Herbarium and a talk on its digitisation project.
This Nature and Tech networking session brings together people working across nature, technology and climate resilience in Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire and Bristol. This month's edition includes a visit to the RAU Herbarium, founded in 1845 by Samuel Pickworth Woodward, whose specimens date from 1787 to 1863. Dr Kelly Hemmings will talk through the collection and the project to catalogue and digitise it for public access. The session runs for 90 minutes and is designed as a structured, interactive networking experience around a practical activity on the RAU campus.
