Masquerade Mask | SISF 2026

A Commedia dell'Arte performance by Fraternal Compagnia APS of Bologna at the Scottish Storytelling Centre as part of the Scottish International Storytelling Festival.

Fraternal Compagnia APS of Bologna brings the world of Commedia dell'Arte to the Netherbow Theatre, featuring traditional characters such as Pantalone, il Dottore, the Captains and the Innamorati. Through improvisation, pantomime and traditional masks, the hour-long performance explores universal themes including love, power, poverty and human nature, breaking down barriers between performers and audience. It forms part of the Scottish International Storytelling Festival 2026, whose theme this year is Bird and Beast.
