Painter Alexander Moffat marks the centenary of Hugh MacDiarmid's 1926 poem A Drunk Man Looks at the Thistle with an exhibition at the Scottish Storytelling Centre. The paintings range from drawings of the poet made at Brownsbank Cottage in 1978 to recent works depicting MacDiarmid and his Borders colleagues William Johnstone and Francis George Scott, the 'Border Guards' of the Scottish Renaissance. The exhibition runs daily from 10am to 6pm.
