Ukulele Beginners Part 2

A full-day workshop for beginner ukulele players developing rhythm, melody and band-playing skills, led by tutor Phil Doleman.

This adult workshop (15+) builds on Ukulele Beginners Part 1, helping players develop rhythm and melody playing, add new chords and combine strokes for rhythmic effects. Participants practise as a ukulele band, trying melody, accompanying and adding colour to arrangements using contemporary and vintage material. Previous attendance at Part 1 is recommended, and attendees should bring a soprano-, tenor- or concert-sized ukulele. Tea and coffee are provided; participants should bring a packed lunch.
