The Big Story Bash – Kate Pankhurst Workshop: Letters From Fantastically Great Women

Kate Pankhurst leads a family workshop exploring letters from inspirational women, with drawing, stamps and envelope design.

Author and illustrator Kate Pankhurst leads a hands-on workshop exploring Letters from Fantastically Great Women, in which trailblazing women including Frida Kahlo, Ada Lovelace and Junko Tabei send letters of wisdom and encouragement to young readers. Children peek inside the letters, discover how these women changed the world, and design their own inspirational post with drawing, bespoke stamps and envelopes. The session forms part of the Big Story Bash family festival day.
