Apple Pruning Volunteer Day
About
A volunteer day at Roadford Lake pruning and restoring the orchards around the grounds, running 10am to 4pm.
Volunteers join staff at Roadford Lake to help restore and rejuvenate the orchards around the site, working through four orchards over the course of the day. Locations may change during the day and participants may need to drive a short distance around the lake. The day starts at the Roadford Café and Venue gatehouse; free parking is available on giving your vehicle registration. Participants should wear outdoor clothing and long sleeves and trousers, bring gloves if they have them (PPE and tools otherwise provided) and a packed lunch, with hot drinks and biscuits supplied.
