About
Poet Joelle Taylor performs and discusses her new collection Maryville at Falmouth Book Festival.
Joelle Taylor visits Falmouth Book Festival with Maryville, her new collection about an imaginary town populated by outsiders, lovers, fighters and ghosts. The evening combines live performance and readings with conversation, also touching on her T. S. Eliot Prize-winning C+nto & Othered Poems and her debut novel The Night Alphabet. Her work explores identity, class, gender, sexuality, violence, survival and belonging.
