Sword Fighting Workshop 5-7

A 45-minute to 1-hour sword fighting workshop for ages 5-7 covering footwork, parries and attacks using foam swords.

This workshop introduces young knights in training to the principles of sword fighting, including footwork, parries and attacks, drawing on real historical styles and stage and screen combat. Children use foam swords, with a chance to look at some real ones afterwards. The session lasts 45 minutes to an hour, requires a basic level of fitness and movement, and each participating child needs a ticket with an accompanying adult present throughout. A second session for ages 8-12 runs at 12:00 the same day.
