About
A guided two-mile walk through Margate exploring the town's history as a seaside resort for Londoners, from George IV to the mods and rockers.
Rob Smith of Footprints of London leads a roughly two-mile walk examining Margate's long relationship with London. The tour covers the historic Old Town, the sands admired by Turner and T S Eliot, and finishes near the Turner Contemporary Gallery. It is described as the final walk in a series along the Medway and Kent Coast.
