Piano in Jazz: The Blue Note Sound – GI 26 154

Guitarist Nicolas Meier and pianist Alex Hutton lead an afternoon course on the Blue Note sound, performing and discussing period jazz standards. They examine the style, albums, compositions, distinctive sound and techniques of the iconic 1950s and 1960s Blue Note jazz tradition. The session runs from 1:30pm to 4:00pm and was rescheduled to Monday 14 December due to scheduling conflicts.
