About
Teinosuke Kinugasa’s 1926 Japanese silent film follows a janitor at an asylum through a fractured world of memory and fantasy.
The film was believed lost until Kinugasa found three-quarters of it in 1971. Kent MOMI says a synopsis will be provided because the surviving film is incomplete. Doors open at 17:30; the film starts at 18:30, with a brief introduction from the curators.
