Functional Skills Maths - Retford Library - Adult Learning
About
A free 20-session adult education course at Retford Library leading to a City & Guilds Functional Skills maths qualification, held on Thursday mornings.
This adult learning course at Retford Library runs over 20 Thursday morning sessions from January to June 2027 and is aimed at adults without a GCSE maths grade 4 who want a recognised qualification. Teaching is based on everyday situations such as managing money and measuring spaces, covering numbers, shapes and measurement, and data and probability, alongside exam technique. Learners complete an online initial assessment, attend weekly and do homework, with a textbook provided. The qualification is awarded by City & Guilds.
