About

A self-guided Wallace & Gromit fungi trail with interactive identification challenges and a take-home activity guide and sticker sheet.

Follow Wallace and Gromit through Wakehurst’s autumn landscape as you identify fungi, notice their shapes, scents and secrets, complete interactive challenges and record scientific discoveries. The pack includes a guide and sticker sheet for the mycological mission. It is self-guided, with no costumed character appearances. The £3 activity pack is additional to Wakehurst entry; qualifying Wakehurst family members receive the trail pack free. The detail card gives last entry as 17:00 through 24 October and 16:00 from 25 October to 1 November; a separate detail paragraph says the trail’s last entry is 15:30. These are conflicting published last-entry statements, not closing times. The £1 concession requires proof of PIP, Disability Living Allowance, Housing Benefit, income-related ESA, income-based JSA, Child Tax Credits, Working Tax Credits, Income Support or an application registration card. Eligible holders may bring one additional adult and up to four children aged 5–16 at the same £1 rate per person.
