About

Professional photographer and Belton volunteer ranger Jon Pear leads a parkland walk, sharing practical advice on photographing the autumn deer rut and explaining the rangers' care of the herd.

The two-hour walk combines seasonal wildlife photography tips with insight into Belton's fallow deer and the ranger team's work. Uneven ground and steep inclines are noted; no dogs except assistance dogs are permitted in the deer sanctuary. Bring a camera or phone camera and wear suitable footwear. Older children are recommended, with all ages welcome alongside an adult. The walk is free; property admission applies to non-members.
