The Commonwealth War Graves Commission runs free guided tours of Plymouth Naval Memorial, led by experienced volunteer guides. The tour lasts around 90 minutes and covers about 200 metres, explaining how the memorial commemorates 7,251 sailors of the First World War and 15,933 of the Second World War, including sailors from Australia, South Africa and other Commonwealth nations. The meeting point is the CWGC information board at the memorial, and visitors should dress for the weather and wear suitable footwear.
