About
This hands-on workshop explores materials and processes connected to labour within the prison system, using objects from the ‘Working Through It’ Exhibition.
Participants will look at selected objects from the ‘Working Through It’ Exhibition, such as weaving tools and sewing equipment. Using simple techniques like stitching into paper and weaving with thread, attendees will create a series of small samples. These samples are then compiled into a handmade book, creating a tactile record of process, time, and labour. The workshop is open to all levels of experience.
