About
A hands-on taster session for post-16 students covering community and hospital midwifery, including observations, abdominal palpation and a SimMom birth demonstration.
This session introduces post-16 (Level 3) students to midwifery, covering both community and hospital practice. Participants learn how to take routine observations, practise abdominal palpations and watch SimMom deliver a baby. It is aimed at students considering studying midwifery at university, with group bookings from teachers welcome.
