Fused Glass Festive Tealight Holder
About
A 1.5-hour fused glass workshop at The Craft House making a Christmas fireplace-themed tealight holder, no experience needed.
This hands-on workshop at The Craft House in Bingley teaches participants to create a fused glass tealight holder designed to look like a Christmas fireplace, with a clear section of glass so the light appears to flicker like flames. Tutor Claire Myers guides attendees through applying frit, shaped glass pieces and murrine to bullseye glass to make a 12cm piece, with no cutting or grinding involved. The session lasts around 1.5 hours at a relaxed pace, and finished work is fired and fitted with a ribbon for collection about a week later. The class is for over-18s only and no previous experience is required.
