Introduction to Collagraph Printing
About
A hands-on beginner-friendly workshop with Ellie learning collagraph printmaking, creating and printing your own one-colour collagraph plate.
This five-and-a-half-hour workshop introduces collagraph printing, a technique where textures and materials are layered onto a plate, sealed, inked and printed. Participants create their own plate using prepared imagery, templates and materials, then ink it in a single colour and print their artwork, focusing on texture, mark-making and composition. Suitable for complete beginners as well as those with some printmaking experience, the session includes all materials and one-to-one guidance, and attendees leave with finished prints and notes on continuing the practice at home.
