Repair Café Rhondda, Tonypandy

A free volunteer-run repair café where people bring broken items to be fixed while enjoying tea and coffee with neighbours.

Volunteer repairers attempt to fix broken or damaged items brought by the public, free of charge, with tea and coffee available while you wait. Typical repairs include basic bicycle maintenance, electrical appliance repair, computing assistance, sewing, ornament repair and woodworking, though most items are considered except microwaves for safety reasons. Repairers will also show visitors how fixes are done, and more volunteer fixers are welcome to come along.
