The Enchanted Cinema: The Snowman

Children and their grown-ups create music and sound effects for The Snowman, with an instrument workshop followed by the animated film.

A 30-minute workshop introduces clapping, singing and instruments from several musical traditions, preparing families to accompany Dianne Jackson’s 1982 animation. The film screening is followed by an opportunity to try instruments or make a drawing. Children aged four and over attend with their grown-ups; phones should stay in bags during the show.
