Garden Design Short Course

Dr Mima Taylor leads an eight-session introduction to garden design, developing a real garden from appraisal and measurement to plans and planting choices.

Dr Mima Taylor introduces garden design principles, surveying, scale drawing, concepts, materials, planting and sustainable choices. Adult learners develop plans for a real garden; a case study can be supplied. Materials and equipment are included. Eight Wednesday classes run from 6pm to 8pm, with no in-person lesson on 28 October and an assignment during that break. Station Hall is on the first floor, reached by an external metal staircase, with no lift.
