Children's Pottery 8+ (Oct Half Term 26)

A half-term pottery workshop for children aged 8+, using two types of clay to create sculptural pieces to be fired, tutored by Fiona Sandover.

This two-hour half-term workshop invites children aged 8 and over to work with two types of clay, creating sculptural pieces that will then be fired. Tutor Fiona Sandover, an experienced ceramics teacher of more than 25 years, leads the session in the West End Centre's pottery studio. Attendees get access to and tutoring on the potters' wheels, learn both sculptural and functional techniques, and are supported in tutor-led projects while expressing their own creativity.
