About
A large illuminated window installation by David Hockney, based on a sunrise image he made in Normandy in 2020.
Hockney’s digital painting is enlarged across the gallery’s seafront window, where changing light connects the image with Margate’s sky and sea. The installation is visible from inside during gallery hours and is lit outdoors each evening until 11pm.
