Balancing in Freedom
About
Iddo Oberski performs Balancing in Freedom, a multi-art-form solo show exploring his family's Holocaust history, disability and Steiner's Philosophy of Freedom.
Balancing in Freedom is a personal storytelling performance blending multiple art forms, in which Iddo Oberski explores his family's Holocaust history, his own disability and Rudolf Steiner's Philosophy of Freedom. In dialogue with his collaborator Svjetlana, the show reflects on how such experiences shape us and how creating art can help make sense of human life. Written and performed by Oberski with Mark Kydd as creative mentor and co-director, the show follows a sold-out 2025 premiere and has received five-star reviews from The Student and four stars from The Herald, The Skinny and Scotsgay Arts.
