Inspired By David Hockney
About
A three-hour art workshop exploring David Hockney's colour and composition techniques, led by artist Marina T-Harrison.
This workshop invites participants to explore the ideas and techniques behind David Hockney's colourful, expressive painting. Working in a sketchbook, attendees experiment with expressive mark making and a limited colour palette, learning to simplify shapes, observe tonal values and build confident compositions. Suitable for beginners and those with experience, the session includes demonstrations and individual guidance from artist and tutor Marina T-Harrison. Participants bring their own watercolour sketchbook, paints, brushes and drawing materials.
