About
A Palm Sunday Eucharist at Selby Abbey, open to all, marking the start of Holy Week with the clergy and abbey choir.
Selby Abbey holds a Eucharist for Palm Sunday, the feast commemorating Jesus's triumphant entry into Jerusalem and the beginning of Holy Week. All are welcome to join the clergy and the Selby Abbey Choir for the service, which falls on the final Sunday of Lent. The observance traditionally includes processions, the blessing of palm fronds and readings of the Passion. The service runs from 10am to 11:15am.
