A Shakespearean Life For Me - An Evening with Bruce Alexander

Actor Bruce Alexander talks about performing Shakespeare and guides unrehearsed scenes with two fellow actors.

Bruce Alexander, a patron of Thame Players with over fifty years of professional acting and more than twenty Shakespeare plays to his name, discusses his experiences performing the Bard on stage, film, radio and television. The first half covers what makes Shakespeare great, stories from his career and the theatre of Shakespeare's time. In the second half he guides Charlotte Miranda-Smith and Matt Sparkes through unrehearsed scenes from a well-known Shakespeare play, showing how they might have been staged in the Bard's day.
