Level 2 Award in First Aid for Youth Mental Health (RQF) (Physical Classroom)

A one-day, face-to-face Level 2 accredited course at Pochat Training teaching how to support children and young people with their mental health.

This one-day, trainer-led classroom course covers youth mental health first aid, including the role of the mental health first aider and how to recognise and manage conditions such as depression, anxiety, psychosis, eating disorders, self-harm, PTSD, bullying and drug and alcohol issues. Participants also learn a mental health first aid action plan. The course is delivered in person at the Pochat Training centre in Brimington, Chesterfield, with a virtual classroom option offered separately.
