Mental Health First Aider® - Adult (Classroom)
About
A two-day accredited Mental Health First Aid (MHFA England) classroom course for adults, teaching participants to spot signs of mental ill health and provide first-aid-style support.
Leicestershire County Council's Learning & Development team delivers this two-day, in-person Adult Mental Health First Aid course accredited by MHFA England, open to anyone aged 16 and over in England. The internationally recognised training teaches participants to recognise the signs and symptoms of mental ill health, listen, reassure and respond even in a crisis, and guide people towards appropriate support. Attendees gain three years' access to the MHFAider Support App, ongoing learning resources and membership of England's largest community of trained MHFAiders, with sessions combining presentation, video, quizzes and group activities led by accredited instructor members.
