Your Salford 100
About
A free exhibition of 100 objects and artworks from the museum's collection, each selected by a Salford resident, group or partner to mark the city's centenary.
To mark Salford's centenary in 2026, Salford Museum & Art Gallery invited 100 groups and individuals from across the city to each choose an item from the museum's collection. The resulting display spans art, decorative arts and social history, with the selectors' responses and stories shown alongside the objects. Participants include members of the public, community groups, staff, local partners and artists. It forms part of a wider centenary programme across Salford Museum & Art Gallery and Ordsall Hall.
