WNO Family Concert: Marvellous Musical Mythology

Welsh National Opera's family concert, hosted by Elin Llwyd, introduces orchestral music through mythological stories in a relaxed, hour-long performance.

WNO Orchestra performs a mythologically themed programme including Holst's Mars, Offenbach's Can-Can, Beethoven's music from Prometheus and Ballo de Orsi, with presenter Elin Llwyd guiding the audience through the stories. The concert lasts about an hour with no interval and is designed as a relaxed family experience, with children encouraged to clap, respond and take part. It is a Welsh language concert, with English and Welsh captions helping everyone follow the action.
